22 February 2019: Two Souls in One - London premiere - venue and time to be confirmed.

Written for choir, four harps, organ, and narrator, Two Souls in One is a musical narrative on the lives of St. Katherine and Hypatia by local composer Robert Peate.  Hereford Chamber Choir, alongside the Royal Academy of Music Harp Ensemble and professional actors Tim Bannerman and Lizzie Brailsford (narrators), will perform Two Souls in One in London.  This concert is kindly supported by the RVW Trust, the Elmley Foundation, Herefordshire's a Great Place, and the Royal Academy of Music.

 

28 March 2020: The Flight of Song. A celebration of music and song, in collaboration with Cafe at All Saints.  Programme to include music by Palestrina, Monteverdi, Byrd, Tomkins, and Rose.  Food and bar from 6 pm, music from 7:30 pm.  All Saints Church, Hereford HR4 9AA.

12 June 2020: Saints and Pilgrims.  Hereford Chamber Choir is proud, once again, to open the Friends of Hereford Cathedral Festival with a programme of music to include Elgar's The Banner of St. George, Holst's Hymns from the Rig Veda (Set III), and Vaughan Williams' An Oxford Elegy and Five Mystical Songs.  Tickets available soon.

Carols in the Cloisters

Thursday 5 December 2019, 7:30 pm, College Hall at Hereford Cathedral

Hereford Chamber Choir, directed by Simon Harper, presents a delightful programme of carols, readings and 20th Century English choral music, including Britten’s A Ceremony of Carols and pieces by Howells and Walton, as part of this annual event in aid of Save the Children.

Gaudete!  Music for Advent & Christmas

Wednesday 11 December 2019, All Saints Church, Hereford.  6pm supper, 7:30pm concert

Hereford Chamber Choir, directed by Simon Harper, presents an eclectic programme of music old and new for Advent and Christmas, with pieces by Victoria, Britten, Howells, Skempton and Briggs.  This concert is in collaboration with Café at All Saints, who will provide a delicious meal for the audience at 6 pm, with the concert following at 7.30 pm. The event takes place on Wednesday 11 December at All Saints Church, Hereford HR4 9AA.
