22 February 2019: Two Souls in One - London premiere - venue and time to be confirmed.

Written for choir, four harps, organ, and narrator, Two Souls in One is a musical narrative on the lives of St. Katherine and Hypatia by local composer Robert Peate.  Hereford Chamber Choir, alongside the Royal Academy of Music Harp Ensemble and professional actors Tim Bannerman and Lizzie Brailsford (narrators), will perform Two Souls in One in London.  This concert is kindly supported by the RVW Trust, the Elmley Foundation, Herefordshire's a Great Place, and the Royal Academy of Music.


28 March 2020: The Flight of Song. Hereford Chamber Choir collaborates once again with Café at All Saints for a delightful programme of music including pieces by Palestrina, Monteverdi, Tomkins, Finzi and Rose. The event will take place at All Saints Church, Hereford, on Saturday 28 March 2020.  The concert at 7.30 pm will follow a delicious supper provided by Café at All Saints, served from 6 pm.  Tickets are £20 for one course supper and concert will be available soon from  Concert only-tickets are £10 (available on the door.)


12 June 2020: Saints and Pilgrims.  Hereford Chamber Choir is proud, once again, to open the Friends of Hereford Cathedral Festival with a programme of music to include Elgar's The Banner of St. George, Holst's Hymns from the Rig Veda (Set III), and Vaughan Williams' An Oxford Elegy and Five Mystical Songs.  Tickets available soon.

Gaudete!  Music for Advent & Christmas

Wednesday 11 December 2019, All Saints Church, Hereford.  

6pm supper, 7:30pm concert

Hereford Chamber Choir, directed by Simon Harper, presents an eclectic programme of music old and new for Advent and Christmas, with pieces by Victoria, Britten, Howells, Skempton and Briggs.  This concert is in collaboration with Café at All Saints, who will provide a delicious meal for the audience at 6 pm, with the concert following at 7.30 pm. The event takes place on Wednesday 11 December at All Saints Church, Hereford HR4 9AA.


Tickets for one course supper and concert are £20 and are available at the All Saints Cafe website, here:

Chorus Angelorum - choral workshop inspired by angels

Saturday 8 February 2020, 10:00 am - 1:30 pm

Holy Trinity Church, Hereford.  

A choral workshop open to everyone!  Join Hereford Chamber Choir for a morning of singing music inspired by angels, including Tudor composer Thomas Weelkes’ joyous motet Gloria in excelsis Deo, and William Harris’ exquisite double-choir anthem Faire is the heaven, one of his finest and best loved works. Do come and join us!  

The workshop takes place at Holy Trinity Church, Whitecross Road, Hereford on Saturday 8 February 2020 from 10 am to 1.30 pm, with coffee and music collection from 9.30 am.
